Since end september 2007, the Fitram has been declared as a NOG by the European Council. Here the official order of the FITRAM status (in french).
The FITRAM gathers professionnals and health associations wich want to provide assistance for persons or groups of persons who suffer under physically, social or psychological problems by using mediation, art, theater, animals. The aim of the federation is to guarantee the quality of this therapy in whole Europe.
Fitram has proposed to the E.U. to coordinate a partnerproject between Germany, Spain, France, Netherlands, Poland and Slowakei to examine the practices and trainings in animal mediatet animation and therapy so to build a common framework for everybody and to submit it to the european commission. This project has been accepted. The aim is that the common framework would be agreed by the U.E., and so by the member states. Everybody who wants to contribute at this project is welcomed (look at forum).

Draft to answer in a very practical manner to the last questions of LDV-partnership2010
This draft will not be sent to our agencies But after our personal meeting with the French agency (which will judge our project) and the remarks they have done about our last drafts,: it is important, and at first “just for the partners”,( in a very bad kitchen-english for no englismen) to readapt our project .Just for you to know “where we are going” and for us to know where you can and want to go.
We need a very quick answer! (until the 14.January)
